The supporters of Cachaça EC booed when NóisNumLiga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th match minute, NóisNumLiga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Dida Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Anselmo Garcia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nilmar da Cunha. Lúcio Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Custódio in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Silva in the 22nd minute of play forced NóisNumLiga FC's goalkeeper Lúcio Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvinho Dracena's late challenge caught a Cachaça EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvinho Dracena helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to NóisNumLiga FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Silvinho Dracena hit a great ball. Franklin Silva took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lúcio Sena. Lúcio Sena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 35 minutes into the match, NóisNumLiga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Zonta came free, but Lúcio Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lúcio Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Cachaça EC's Zé Roberto Custódio got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Jarbas Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the NóisNumLiga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarbas Ferreira couldn't finish the play. Lúcio Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franklin Silva was the one to do the kick off. NóisNumLiga FC's Lúcio Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save NóisNumLiga FC from getting a goal against them. NóisNumLiga FC's Lúcio Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save NóisNumLiga FC from getting a goal against them.
