In the 21st minute of the match Nilmar da Cunha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Bastos skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Soin in the 26th minute of play forced NóisNumLiga FC's goalkeeper Lúcio Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lúcio Sena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Maria Veloso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 82 minute of play.
