Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) São Vicente FC's Augusto de Barros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto de Barros in the 3rd minute of play forced Leria's goalkeeper Fernandão Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandão Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Perez in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Wilian Perez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernandão Rosa was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, São Vicente FC's Wellington Araújo got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Otávio Eger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernandão Rosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Manfredo de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Claudinho Albuquerque got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fernandão Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Perez in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto de Barros in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandão Rosa saved Leria from getting behind. If Augusto de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafinha Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo de Medeiros in the 36th minute of play. After 40 played minutes São Vicente FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto de Barros. Rafinha Madureira was a little too slow when Manfredo de Medeiros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. 47 minutes into the match, Augusto de Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernandão Rosa. Leria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto de Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manfredo de Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. Rafinha Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo de Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Albuquerque in the 70th minute of play forced São Vicente FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Madureira having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Wellington Araújo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the São Vicente FC and the Leria players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, São Vicente FC's Wellington Araújo got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Albuquerque in the 78th minute of play forced São Vicente FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Claudinho Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Leria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. Edinho Godoi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 98 played minutes Leria got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Sá. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leria fully deserved thier win.
