Augusto de Barros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Wilian Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Percival Talló who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Vicente FC's Rafinha Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 20 played minutes São Vicente FC got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Godoi. Wilian Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jarbas de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, AS wanheda's goalkeeper Jarbas de Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilian Perez. If Lucas Cano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of AS wanheda booed when São Vicente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percival Talló took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafinha Madureira. Rafinha Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Lucas Cano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafinha Madureira. São Vicente FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Cano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. AS wanheda's Jarbas de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto de Barros in the 35th minute of play. After 35 played minutes AS wanheda got a freekick which was hit by Nico Vander. In the 37th match minute, São Vicente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Eger to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Cano in the 40th minute of play forced São Vicente FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percival Talló in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafinha Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Percival Talló struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Rafinha Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS wanheda. In the 44th minute, Nico Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half AS wanheda were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Percival Talló to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percival Talló in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafinha Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafinha Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Cano, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, São Vicente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Cano came free, but Rafinha Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto de Barros during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Augusto de Barros hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. With splendid footwork Percival Talló arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-3 by the left pole in the game's 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, São Vicente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Araújo to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Wilian Perez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarbas de Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 72 minutes into the match, São Vicente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Talló came free, but Rafinha Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto de Barros struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Jarbas de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Vicente FC. Jarbas de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto de Barros in the 83rd minute of play. AS wanheda's Lucas Cano got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Percival Talló's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafinha Madureira was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Wilian Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas de Andrade having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Percival Talló made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. São Vicente FC's Rafinha Madureira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over AS wanheda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than São Vicente FC throughout the match.
