Ciro Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Váldson Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Váldson Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FLAVIO JR booed when Silves AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 minutes, Igor Saraiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silves AD and the FLAVIO JR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Silves AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FLAVIO JR booed when Silves AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Váldson Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mané Tepedino's late challenge caught a Silves AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mané Tepedino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, one of FLAVIO JR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FLAVIO JR. Sílvio de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Simões in the 30th minute of the match. Ronaldão Neiva's late challenge caught a Silves AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldão Neiva helped the player get up and apologised. Ciro Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genílson Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Válbson Hermes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute of the match Caetano Donatello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio de Sousa skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genílson Alvarenga to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, FLAVIO JR's Ronaldão Neiva got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Ronaldão Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FLAVIO JR's Ciro Urbano got control of the ball when Betão Munhoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silves AD's Frédson Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FLAVIO JR fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when FLAVIO JR's Benjamin Reis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benjamin Reis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Silves AD's Genílson Alvarenga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Urbano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 89 minutes, Betinho Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FLAVIO JR and the Silves AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Betinho Amaral hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Silves AD defense, Enio Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio de Sousa. The Silves AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio de Sousa should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the FLAVIO JR players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
