After a rather tough play, AS wanheda's Augusto Palben got a free kick in the 26th minute. Percival Talló who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Michel Preudhomme when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Percival Talló's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Michel Preudhomme skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jarbas de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Meira in the 33rd minute of the match. Jarbas de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agnaldo Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

That made the score 1-1 after 64 minutes of play. 70 minutes into the match, Agnaldo Teixeira notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of AS wanheda's Jarbas de Andrade. Jarbas de Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luiz Gustavo Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Percival Talló who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Araçoiaba FC's Michel Preudhomme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of AS wanheda booed when Araçoiaba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joélson de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rony Meira struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jarbas de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Araçoiaba FC. Percival Talló fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Preudhomme having to interfere. Jarbas de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Meira in the 93rd minute of play.
