After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Mané Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Araçoiaba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mané Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio de Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sílvio de Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rony Meira's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. When the referee ended the match the Araçoiaba FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
