The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jarbas de Andrade stood somewhat misplaced when Igor Cabral came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 6 minute. 12 minutes into the match, AS wanheda's Augusto Palben sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michal Karwowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Breno Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, AS wanheda's goalkeeper Jarbas de Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz da Fonseca. A hard shot 18 in the game by Igor Cabral from a close distance when the talented Jarbas de Andrade managed to make a qualified save. AS wanheda's players were relieved. After some careless play in the AS wanheda defense, Igor Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarbas de Andrade. The AS wanheda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarbas de Andrade should have stopped the shot. Luiz da Fonseca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jarbas de Andrade came out and tried to block the shot, but Luiz da Fonseca slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. 31 minutes into the game, Edu Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS wanheda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C. Guará the free kick. After 32 played minutes, A.C. Guará's Bernardo Lira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jarbas de Andrade came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.C. Guará reached it. Lucas Cano hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, AS wanheda's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz da Fonseca came free, but Jarbas de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Bernardo Lira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarbas de Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 42nd match minute, A.C. Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Gerber to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as A.C. Guará's Igor Cabral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jarbas de Andrade. That made the score 6-0 after 45 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Cabral was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz da Fonseca in the 52nd minute of play forced AS wanheda's goalkeeper Jarbas de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Igor Cabral notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of AS wanheda's Jarbas de Andrade. Jarbas de Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 62 minutes into the game, Luiz da Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Jarbas de Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas de Andrade having to interfere. After 67 minutes of play, A.C. Guará's Igor Cabral made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarbas de Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Lira in the 71st minute of play forced AS wanheda's goalkeeper Jarbas de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AS wanheda's Lucas Cano got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz da Fonseca took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarbas de Andrade. Jarbas de Andrade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. The A.C. Guará fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when A.C. Guará's Igor Cabral looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 89th minute Luiz da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A.C. Guará's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
