Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Lira ran back to his position shaking his head. Igor Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Lopes having to interfere. Igor Cabral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frédson Lopes having to make a save. In the 11th minute, Igor Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C. Guará fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bernardo Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A.C. Guará's Sérgio Gerber was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Frédson Lopes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rony Mendonça took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michal Karwowski. Michal Karwowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Igor Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frédson Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz da Fonseca in the 26th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Carlinhos da Mata put in a rough tackle. In the 27th minute, one of Locomotiva:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Locomotiva. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Cabral in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frédson Lopes saved Locomotiva from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Igor Cabral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frédson Lopes was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Luiz da Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frédson Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Frédson Lopes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when A.C. Guará's Igor Cabral shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Gilson Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Karwowski having to interfere. A collision led to A.C. Guará getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Túlio Vaz hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Cabral to strike the kick off in the second half. Frédson Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Locomotiva's Frédson Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Locomotiva from getting a goal against them. Igor Cabral received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frédson Lopes came out and tried to block the shot, but Igor Cabral slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 59th minute. Michal Karwowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Marco do Valle almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.C. Guará's Michal Karwowski did a great save. Valdir Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Michal Karwowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdir Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, A.C. Guará's Igor Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frédson Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. 75 minutes into the match, Igor Cabral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frédson Lopes. Locomotiva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Cabral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. Sérgio Gerber in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frédson Lopes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Igor Cabral might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frédson Lopes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Cabral ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Locomotiva's zone, Luiz da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédson Lopes came out of the goal and Luiz da Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Lopes having to interfere. Bernardo Lira struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Frédson Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C. Guará. A collision led to Locomotiva getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Valdir Albuquerque hit a great ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Igor Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Locomotiva's Frédson Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Marco do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Igor Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilson Maciel's late challenge caught a A.C. Guará's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilson Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Locomotiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Maciel to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Locomotiva's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Cabral came free, but Frédson Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.C. Guará's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
