In the 11th minute, Tʀɪʙᴏ ᴅᴇ Jᴀʜ FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after David Borges fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Michel Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Willian Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio Vista Alegre. Willian Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute of the match Falcão Peres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Willian Teixeira skillfully saved the ball. Michel Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Willian Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Grêmio Vista Alegre's Daniel Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Vander in the 69th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Miguel Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willian Teixeira came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Vista Alegre's Michel Tepedino. But to his dismay, Michel Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Grêmio Vista Alegre's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
