With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Luís Maranhense in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Túlio Cardozo saved Uberaba SC from getting behind. Túlio Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sílvio Luís Maranhense's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Eduardo Duarte in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean Freitas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dito de Andrade scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Túlio Cardozo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Anafama's Dito de Andrade got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match, Luís Eduardo Duarte tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jean Freitas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Anafama's Murillo Prado was substituted for Luiz Fabiano Travassos. The supporters of Anafama booed when Uberaba SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sílvio Luís Maranhense scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Túlio Cardozo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Anafama fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! André Luís Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Túlio Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Maranhense in the 46th minute of the match. The Uberaba SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anafama were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Eduardo Duarte made a kick off. Túlio Cardozo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dito de Andrade in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luís Maranhense in the 57th minute of play forced Uberaba SC's goalkeeper Túlio Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dito de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Duarte in the 67th minute of play. Dito de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Cardozo having to interfere. Túlio Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Maranhense in the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Uberaba SC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Antônio Carlos Ramalho hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sílvio Luís Maranhense in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Túlio Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Sílvio Luís Maranhense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean Freitas came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Uberaba SC's Luís Eduardo Duarte. But to his dismay, Luís Eduardo Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 86th minute Sílvio Luís Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anafama's Jean Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo Duarte in the 89th minute of play. Murillo Prado charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murillo Prado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Murillo Prado hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the match was over Anafama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Uberaba SC throughout the match.
