Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Michel Tepedino got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Grêmio Vista Alegre defense, Cícero Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Lima. The Grêmio Vista Alegre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Lima should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute, Falcão Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grêmio Vista Alegre's Daniel Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Amaral in the 12th minute of play. Cícero Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Lima having to interfere. A collision led to Grêmio Vista Alegre getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. David Borges hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Cícero Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Lima. Grêmio Vista Alegre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cícero Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdemar Costa during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Cavalcante F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Costa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Michel Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio Vista Alegre's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Tepedino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toninho Bertassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Horácio Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toninho Bertassi. Cavalcante F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horácio Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Toninho Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Tepedino in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cícero Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Daniel Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Cavalcante F. C.'s Cícero Amaral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Toninho Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Michel Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toninho Bertassi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Borges went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Cícero Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toninho Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Tepedino in the 69th minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Grêmio Vista Alegre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Borges to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Michel Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toninho Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. 83 minutes into the game, Grêmio Vista Alegre's Claudinho Reis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toninho Bertassi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Michel Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toninho Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Tepedino in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Faria in the 89th minute of play forced Cavalcante F. C.'s goalkeeper Toninho Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Grêmio Vista Alegre's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Amaral came free, but Daniel Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cícero Amaral struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Daniel Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavalcante F. C.. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Grêmio Vista Alegre were victorious despite being under pressure from Cavalcante F. C. for much of the match.
