Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Benedito Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Breckenfeld having to interfere. Clube Atlético Lençoense's Paulinho Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Silva in the 6th minute of play. Diguinho Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, Clube Atlético Lençoense's Jacinto Mazza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Berger was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho de Moraes in the 20th minute of play forced Recife Pe's goalkeeper Tomás Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Recife Pe got a freekick which was hit by Breno Tinoco. In the 22nd minute Dagoberto Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Recife Pe's zone, Dagoberto Siqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Berger came out of the goal and Dagoberto Siqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Lençoense's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Silva came free, but Paulinho Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 32 played minutes, Recife Pe's Ademar Prado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulinho Breckenfeld came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Recife Pe reached it. 37 minutes into the match, Jacinto Mazza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Berger. Recife Pe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Mazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jacinto Mazza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Berger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play.

After 55 played minutes Recife Pe got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Brito. Tomás Berger came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Lençoense's Jacinto Mazza. But to his dismay, Jacinto Mazza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 61st match minute, Recife Pe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Lençoense's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Silva came free, but Paulinho Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Recife Pe's Tomás Berger got control of the ball when Jacinto Mazza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacinto Mazza in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomás Berger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tomás Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Magno, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Jacinto Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tomás Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Tales Magno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomás Berger. That made the score 0-5 in the 92 minute of play. After 98 minutes, José Carlos Pontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Recife Pe and the Clube Atlético Lençoense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clube Atlético Lençoense's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
