Spectators: 7632 (Terracing: 5725, Seating: 1755, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fred Breckenfeld started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Wesley Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute Gino Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Garcia did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Pedrinho Andrade 8 minutes into the match. Fernando Chus took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrinho Andrade. Pedrinho Andrade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 21st minute, Gino Garcia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedrinho Andrade. The goal made the score 3-0. If Hernani Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Pedrinho Andrade managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Martele's Gino Garcia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fernando Chus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 played minutes Curupira EC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Abreu. Pedrinho Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gino Garcia's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. With his leg Pedrinho Andrade managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Martele's Gino Garcia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Emiliyan Vladichki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martele's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliyan Vladichki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fred Breckenfeld took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helmut Tönnies. Helmut Tönnies dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gino Garcia was the one to do the kick off. Wesley Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wesley Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Curupira EC's Wesley Marques got a free kick in the 50th minute. A collision led to Curupira EC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Joel de Souza hit a great ball. Fabian Monico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Pedrinho Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Curupira EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Garcia came free, but Pedrinho Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fernando Chus came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Martele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Chus couldn't finish the play. If Gino Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Fabian Monico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gino Garcia in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrinho Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Curupira EC defense, Fernando Chus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedrinho Andrade. The Curupira EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedrinho Andrade should have stopped the shot. Joel de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Andrade having to interfere. Gino Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Andrade having to interfere. Válbson Pitta hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Fernando Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Andrade having to interfere. Gino Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Pedrinho Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrinho Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Mário Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With a little luck, Martele's Helmut Tönnies got control of the ball when Hernani Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martele's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
