Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Curupira EC's goal looked a bit too open when Erivaldo Cardoso came free, but Pedrinho Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kauã Sarmento took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrinho Andrade. Pedrinho Andrade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Curupira EC's Dito Silva got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Kauã Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Andrade having to interfere. Wesley Marques hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ferwe SC booed when Curupira EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Ferwe SC's Kauã Sarmento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedrinho Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Dito Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kauã Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erivaldo Cardoso scored 0-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedrinho Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kauã Sarmento to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Kauã Sarmento put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Pedrinho Andrade. 56 minutes into the game, Curupira EC's Fred Breckenfeld nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dito Fontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Ferwe SC's zone, Joel de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dito Fontes came out of the goal and Joel de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Curupira EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Kauã Sarmento scored to the left of an out of position Pedrinho Andrade, making the score, 1-5. 68 minutes into the match, Hernani Velasco notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of Ferwe SC's Dito Fontes. Dito Fontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With splendid footwork Kauã Sarmento arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-7 by the left pole in the game's 72nd minute. Pedrinho Andrade acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Patrick Oliveira. Jorginho Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorginho Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Ferwe SC got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Senna. Fred Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dito Fontes having to interfere. Tomé Paulista's late challenge caught a Curupira EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé Paulista helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Tomé Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dito Silva fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curupira EC's protests and gave Dito Silva a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ferwe SC booed when Curupira EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute Fred Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
