Paulinho Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo do Valle having to interfere. A collision led to Pirangy Fc getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Clóvis Cearense hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Pirangy Fc's Luiz Fabiano Amaral got a free kick in the 9th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Fernando Pena during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Carlos Fernando Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pirangy Fc's zone, Vânderson Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Téo do Valle came out of the goal and Vânderson Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Manfredo Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Téo do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Paulinho Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo do Valle having to interfere. Téo do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, Pirangy Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clóvis Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Vânderson Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Almir Xavier fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirangy Fc's protests and gave Almir Xavier a yellow card for diving instead. Manfredo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo do Valle having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pirangy Fc defense, Paulinho Carioca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Téo do Valle. The Pirangy Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Téo do Valle should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Therezina booed when Pirangy Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fabiano Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Paulinho Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Téo do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Amaral hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Téo do Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfredo Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Almir Xaviers short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Vitório Seco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 78th minute, Rafa de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgílio Batista's late challenge caught a Pirangy Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgílio Batista helped the player get up and apologised. Virgílio Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Raphael Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Therezina's Vitório Seco got control of the ball when Almir Xavier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulinho Carioca might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Téo do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulinho Carioca ran back to his position shaking his head. Manfredo Ferreira took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Téo do Valle. Téo do Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Manfredo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo do Valle having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Therezina fully deserved thier win.
