Gino Garcia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Vitório Seco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gino Garcia got free with Vitório Seco in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgílio Batista during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Virgílio Batista hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gino Garcia did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Vitório Seco 24 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Gino Garcia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vitório Seco. Gino Garcia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Fernando Chus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vitório Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fernando Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitório Seco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gino Garcia in the 38th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Gino Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Therezina's Vitório Seco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manfredo Ferreira to strike the kick off in the second half. Manfredo Ferreira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Martele's Gino Garcia got a free kick in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Gino Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitório Seco was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After 73rd play minutes Gino Garcia shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Vitório Seco and just under the crossbar into goal. Paulinho Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Tönnies having to interfere.
