Dito Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Erivaldo Cardoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David de Alcântara, 2-0. David de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Erivaldo Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. After 40 minutes of play, Murupu EC's André Luiz Antunes made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dito Fontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jorginho Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorginho Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Murupu EC booed when Ferwe SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomé Paulista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but David de Alcântara made a huge save. Luizinho Koehler charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luizinho Koehler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Dito Fontes managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Murupu EC's André Luiz Antunes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Ferwe SC's Dito Fontes got control of the ball when André Luiz Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Murupu EC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Luizinho Koehler hit a great ball. If André Luiz Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. With an all-out effort, Murupu EC's Dito Fontes threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romário Rezende, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
