Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulo Perez took the kick off in the first half of the match. Paulo Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho Tande having to interfere. When Hamílton de Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PEGARU FC's protests and gave Hamílton de Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to PEGARU FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Hamílton de Queiroz hit a great ball. Paulo Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Régis Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Aparecido having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Hugo Peres put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Osvaldo Aparecido. When Lauro Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formigueiro's protests and gave Lauro Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. If Régis Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PEGARU FC's Maurinho Tande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save PEGARU FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of PEGARU FC booed when Formigueiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Régis Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Formigueiro's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Peres came free, but Osvaldo Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Raphael Palmeira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maurinho Tande, 1-1. Formigueiro's Raphael Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Aparecido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Régis Mesquita's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Régis Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Aparecido having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Régis Mesquita made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Régis Mesquita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formigueiro's Osvaldo Aparecido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Hugo Peres came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the PEGARU FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Peres couldn't finish the play. Hugo Peres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Aparecido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. If Hugo Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Formigueiro's Osvaldo Aparecido got control of the ball when Hugo Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Régis Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Osvaldo Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Maria Catarinense got in the 71st minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Osvaldo Aparecido. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-2. After having played for 78 minutes, Hugo Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEGARU FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Régis Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Aparecido having to interfere. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Régis Mesquita sped through Formigueiro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Osvaldo Aparecido. After 86 minutes, Alfredão Alagoano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PEGARU FC and the Formigueiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PEGARU FC's Alfredão Alagoano got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Raphael Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Aparecido made a huge save. PEGARU FC's Régis Mesquita suffered a sprained foot after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 93 minutes, Hamílton Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Formigueiro and the PEGARU FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Formigueiro's Hamílton Rossi got a free kick in the 94th minute. Maurinho Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Perez in the 97th minute of play.
