In the 7th minute Luiz Fábio de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent McGorrie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fábio de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent McGorrie having to interfere. Chiquinho Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Olavo Toledo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Basílio Cunha. Olavo Toledo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Virgílio Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. Michel Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Toledo in the 30th minute of the match. Vincent McGorrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Albuquerque in the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Agnaldo Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SERRANO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agnaldo Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 minutes, Claudinho Negri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Camarazinho SS and the SERRANO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Claudinho Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Olavo Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luiz Fábio de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, César Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vincent McGorrie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent McGorrie made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Luiz Fábio de Lara sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Luiz Fábio de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olavo Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 played minutes Camarazinho SS got a freekick which was hit by César Mandrak. Thanks to some nice moves Luiz Fábio de Lara could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Vincent McGorrie however easily saved by the left post. After 90 minutes of play Camarazinho SS's César Mandrak was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. César Mandrak hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The supporters of SERRANO booed when Camarazinho SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beto Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Virgílio Arósio came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the SERRANO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio Arósio couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Camarazinho SS failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
