The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, td2's Rômulo da Silveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Célio Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Paulo Ganix reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Célio Queiroz. The goal made the score 1-0. Paulo Ganixs short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Célio Queiroz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Célio Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Ganix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Hugo Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Ganix did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Célio Queiroz 19 minutes into the match. Célio Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo da Silveira in the 22nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mangarataia's zone, Paulo Ganix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Célio Queiroz came out of the goal and Paulo Ganix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rômulo da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Ganix's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Célio Queiroz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Ganix in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Célio Queiroz saved Mangarataia from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Rômulo da Silveira took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Célio Queiroz to make any attempt to save it. 35 minutes into the game, Paulo Ganix recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Célio Queiroz. Paulo Ganix showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Mangarataia's Miguel Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Célio Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo da Silveira in the 54th minute of play. Rômulo da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Queiroz having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Ganix in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Célio Queiroz saved Mangarataia from getting behind. If Rômulo da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67thth minute of the game Vitinho de Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mangarataia's Célio Queiroz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Célio Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo da Silveira in the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Mangarataia getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Hugo Mesquita hit a great ball. After 75th play minutes Paulo Ganix shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Célio Queiroz and just under the crossbar into goal. Célio Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rômulo da Silveira went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Célio Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Ganix in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Rômulo da Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Ganix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean Luz's late challenge caught a td2's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean Luz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of td2 booed when Mangarataia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
