After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Nurkan Özek managed to get in a good position for a shot. td2's supporters rose to their feet, but Nurkan Özek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th match minute, Maia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Meira to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nurkan Özek in the 20th minute of the match. 2-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Paulo Ganix elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovanni Travassos during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Maia got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Travassos. After a defensive mix-up in Maia's zone, Paulo Ganix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Motta came out of the goal and Paulo Ganix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Paulo Ganix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maia's Emanuel Motta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuel Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitinho de Moraes in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute José Pedro de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Baltazar Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rômulo da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute Paulo Ganix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, td2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Cruz to maneuver through the defense. If Vitinho de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes of play Maia's Geovanni Travassos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Geovanni Travassos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Nurkan Özek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Motta. Maia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nurkan Özek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some careless play in the Maia defense, Paulo Ganix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Motta. The Maia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Motta should have stopped the shot. Maia's Emanuel Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho de Moraes in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that td2 were the better team. td2's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
