Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) PEGARU FC's Régis Mesquita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maurinho Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giuseppe de Queiroz having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Peres in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giuseppe de Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leopoldo Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Maurinho Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Bertolinia's Leopoldo Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurinho Tande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Vítor Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Leopoldo Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bertolinia's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurinho Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giuseppe de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by PEGARU FC's Régis Mesquita. But to his dismay, Régis Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Régis Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Giuseppe de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gil Toscano to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Leopoldo Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bertolinia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hugo Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Luizão de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Giuseppe de Queiroz made a huge save. Giuseppe de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Mesquita in the 70th minute of play. If Leopoldo Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hugo Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Giuseppe de Queiroz made a huge save. Giuseppe de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Vieira during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Bertolinia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Vieira to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over PEGARU FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bertolinia throughout the match.
