Camarazinho SS's Luiz Fábio de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camarazinho SS's César Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Fábio de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Aparecido having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Palmeira in the 16th minute of play forced Formigueiro's goalkeeper Osvaldo Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Formigueiro got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Lopez. After 23 played minutes, Camarazinho SS's Luiz Fábio da Silveira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Osvaldo Aparecido came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Camarazinho SS reached it. 26 minutes into the game, Camarazinho SS's César Palmeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldo Aparecido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fábio de Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Aparecido was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Basílio Cunha came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Formigueiro's Paulo Perez. But to his dismay, Paulo Perez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, Camarazinho SS's Luiz Fábio de Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Aparecido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Formigueiro's Léo Alves got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 45 minutes of play, Camarazinho SS's César Palmeira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Aparecido was left in no man's land by his defense there!

After having played for 56 minutes, Luiz Fábio de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camarazinho SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fábio de Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, César Palmeira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Osvaldo Aparecido, passed just outside the right post. 59 minutes into the match, Formigueiro's goalkeeper Osvaldo Aparecido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fábio de Lara. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Formigueiro's goalkeeper Osvaldo Aparecido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luiz Fábio de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Osvaldo Aparecido made a huge save. With a little luck, Formigueiro's Osvaldo Aparecido got control of the ball when Luiz Fábio de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Osvaldo Aparecido managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Camarazinho SS's Luiz Fábio de Lara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. César Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Palmeira in the 88th minute of the match. Orlando Lopez's late challenge caught a Camarazinho SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Lopez helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Formigueiro got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Lopez. When the final whistle sounded Camarazinho SS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Formigueiro.
