Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) João Ferraz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute David Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inaris Cult's Cristóvão de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Barros in the 9th minute of play. Toninho Silva made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Dráusio Luz sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Itapaje getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Aníbal Carioca hit a great ball. In the 21st minute David Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dráusio Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angelo Saldanha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Toninho Silva came out and tried to block the shot, but Angelo Saldanha slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. Toninho Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Saldanha's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Toninho Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dráusio Luz in the 32nd minute. Itapaje's Toninho Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Saldanha in the 33rd minute of play. In the 41st minute David Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Inaris Cult's goal looked a bit too open when João Ferraz came free, but Cristóvão de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Itapaje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Carioca to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes Itapaje got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Costa. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Saldanha made a kick off. In the 56th minute Angelo Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Angelo Saldanha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Toninho Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dadá Costa during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Inaris Cult booed when Itapaje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Inaris Cult getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Angelo Saldanha hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Saldanha in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toninho Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the game, Marcus Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itapaje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inaris Cult the free kick. After 76 played minutes Itapaje got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Melo. Angelo Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toninho Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráusio Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. David Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão de Andrade having to interfere. Inaris Cult's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
