Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Válbson Prado started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Váldson Trigo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Genílson Pitta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Váldson Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Pitta having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Váldson Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. lucas F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Váldson Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. lucas F.C's Miguel do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Absoluto FC's Fred Queiroz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kléberson Guimarães. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. Váldson Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Bruninho Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Váldson Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Miguel do Vale came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the lucas F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel do Vale couldn't finish the play. Genílson Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Váldson Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. lucas F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Váldson Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd match minute, lucas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel do Vale to maneuver through the defense. Miguel do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luan Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Kléberson Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A hard shot 39 in the game by Waldir de Godoi from a close distance when the talented Kléberson Guimarães managed to make a qualified save. lucas F.C's players were relieved. If Váldson Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. lucas F.C's Kléberson Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save lucas F.C from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Trigo in the 47th minute of play forced Absoluto FC's goalkeeper Genílson Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Váldson Trigo made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Fred Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Absoluto FC and the lucas F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes Absoluto FC got a freekick which was hit by Fred Queiroz. 52 minutes into the game, Miguel do Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. lucas F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Absoluto FC the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Miguel do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kléberson Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir de Godoi in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Mangueira in the 62nd minute of play forced lucas F.C's goalkeeper Kléberson Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Armandinho da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. lucas F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Armandinho da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genílson Pitta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. That made the score 1-3 after 79 minutes of play. lucas F.C's Kléberson Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Prado in the 83rd minute of play. Armandinho da Cunha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Genílson Pitta came out and tried to block the shot, but Armandinho da Cunha slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 85th minute. Miguel do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Genílson Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genílson Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel do Vale in the 92nd minute of play. Válbson Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kléberson Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kléberson Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir de Godoi in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded lucas F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Absoluto FC.
