If Henrique Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Fábio Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Juarês Correia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristóvão de Andrade. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Andrézinho Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Zadilinos's Lenílson Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Saldanha in the 32nd minute of play. If Angelo Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 37 minutes into the match, Angelo Saldanha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lenílson Terra. Zadilinos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Saldanha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Henrique Guerra struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cristóvão de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zadilinos. Geovânio Araújo charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovânio Araújo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Cristóvão de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Faria in the 56th minute of play. Paulo Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Henrique Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Alves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Fábio Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cristóvão de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Zadilinos getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Elano Fonseca hit a great ball. Lenílson Terra didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Lenílson Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Saldanha in the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Inaris Cult booed when Zadilinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beto Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 minutes, Dadá das Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zadilinos and the Inaris Cult players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dadá das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Dráusio Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Terra having to interfere. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zadilinos's goalkeeper Lenílson Terra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lenílson Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Saldanha in the 91st minute of the match. Dráusio Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Terra having to interfere. A collision led to Zadilinos getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Beto Luz hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
