Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Angelo Saldanha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir de Godoi in the 4th minute of play forced Inaris Cult's goalkeeper Cristóvão de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Angelo Saldanha fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráusio Luz got free with Genílson Pitta in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Absoluto FC's Genílson Pitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Absoluto FC from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Absoluto FC's goalkeeper Genílson Pitta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dráusio Luz. In the 21st minute, Angelo Saldanha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Genílson Pitta. The goal made the score 1-0. Dráusio Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fred Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Absoluto FC's protests and gave Fred Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. Fred Queiroz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Dráusio Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Genílson Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Dráusio Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inaris Cult's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráusio Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristóvão de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Válbson Prado scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristóvão de Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Inaris Cult's Angelo Saldanha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Genílson Pitta. That made the score 2-1 after 48 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Válbson Prado to strike the kick off in the second half. Válbson Prado might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristóvão de Andrade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Válbson Prado ran back to his position shaking his head. After 57 played minutes Absoluto FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Paiva. In the 60th minute, Dráusio Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Angelo Saldanha sped through Absoluto FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Genílson Pitta. Dudu Ramalho charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dudu Ramalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dudu Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 72 played minutes, Inaris Cult's Andrézinho Vieira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Genílson Pitta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inaris Cult reached it. In the 77th minute, Válbson Prado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristóvão de Andrade. The goal made the score 3-2. Absoluto FC's Genílson Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Saldanha in the 82nd minute of play. Cristóvão de Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldir de Godoi in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Dráusio Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Absoluto FC's Genílson Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráusio Luz in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Absoluto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 96 minutes, Dráusio Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inaris Cult's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráusio Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Inaris Cult booed when Absoluto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Inaris Cult had won after a very even match.
