After a defensive mix-up in Inaris Cult's zone, Ricardinho Velloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão de Andrade came out of the goal and Ricardinho Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4 minutes into the match, Thiago Cearense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristóvão de Andrade. Inaris Cult's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thiago Cearense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Inaris Cult's goalkeeper Cristóvão de Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thiago Cearense. After 12 minutes, Arnaldo Capixaba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pitangueira AD and the Inaris Cult players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Pitangueira AD got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Capixaba. 14 minutes into the match, Pitangueira AD's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Saldanha came free, but Abuzer Baysungur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvinho Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvinho Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvinho Barbosa hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute of the match, Thiago Cearense tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristóvão de Andrade saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Inaris Cult getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dráusio Luz hit a great ball. Silvinho Barbosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristóvão de Andrade came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvinho Barbosa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. Cristóvão de Andrade made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ricardinho Velloso sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th play minute Thiago Cearense came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cristóvão de Andrade. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Thiago Cearense took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Cristóvão de Andrade to make any attempt to save it. Cristóvão de Andrade made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Ricardinho Velloso sent off a good shot on target. Pitangueira AD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by João Adolfo Meira in the 39th minute. It was a well-played corner which Thiago Cearense managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 40th minute, Iuri Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão de Andrade having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Velloso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Cristóvão de Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Angelo Saldanha made the kick off in the second half. Cristóvão de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Velloso in the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ricardinho Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pitangueira AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho Velloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristóvão de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardinho Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão de Andrade having to interfere. After some careless play in the Inaris Cult defense, Arnaldo Capixaba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristóvão de Andrade. The Inaris Cult fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristóvão de Andrade should have stopped the shot. After 68 minutes of play, Pitangueira AD's Thiago Cearense made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristóvão de Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pitangueira AD made a substitution. Cléberson Gaúcho replaced Silvinho Barbosa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Saldanha in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abuzer Baysungur saved Pitangueira AD from getting behind. Angelo Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Abuzer Baysungur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardinho Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão de Andrade having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Dráusio Luz made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pitangueira AD's Abuzer Baysungur tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodolfo Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson Gaúcho in the 93rd minute of the match. Pitangueira AD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
