With an all-out effort, lucas F.C's Fabrício Barros threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Armandinho da Cunha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Váldson Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basu EC's Fabrício Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armandinho da Cunha in the 24th minute of play. Kléberson Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Catarinense in the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Váldson Trigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrício Barros was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Basu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal de Medeiros came free, but Fabrício Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel do Vale missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 76 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Fabrício Barros right hand side. Amadeu Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Basu EC's attentive Fernando Maranhense managed to snatch the ball when Vladimir Toscano made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel do Vale in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Váldson Trigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
