Anjinho AD's Ernani das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Miguel do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. lucas F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wágner Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Váldson Trigo to make the kick off. In the 69th minute Váldson Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Váldson Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the lucas F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Váldson Trigo couldn't finish the play. Enio Zonta made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Vicente Mesquita however managed to control. In the 78th match minute, Anjinho AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Váldson Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Danilo de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armandinho da Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play.
