In the 9th minute Waldir Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, Mojutapera's Doni Cearense made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fábio Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agostinho Macedo was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Rômulo de Toledo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rômulo de Toledo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 17 minutes into the game, Rômulo de Toledo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Agostinho Macedo. Rômulo de Toledo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After 20 minutes of play, Mojutapera's Juninho Toledo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fábio Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24thth minute of the game Caetano Furlan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Juve FC's Luiz Fábio Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th match minute, Mojutapera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Lago to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Válter Negri notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Mojutapera's Agostinho Macedo. Agostinho Macedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caetano Furlan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Fábio Vieira having to make a save. The Mojutapera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agostinho Macedo should have stopped the shot.

Caetano Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Luiz Fábio Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mojutapera's Doni Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caetano Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Vieira having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Caetano Furlan notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Nova Juve FC's Luiz Fábio Vieira. Luiz Fábio Vieira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juninho Toledo got free with Luiz Fábio Vieira in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caetano Furlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Luiz Fábio Vieira made a huge save. Mojutapera's Agostinho Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Carneiro in the 66th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Mojutapera got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Lago. Agostinho Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Carneiro in the 73rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldir Lago got free with Luiz Fábio Vieira in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Caetano Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mojutapera's supporters rose to their feet, but Caetano Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fábio Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agostinho Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Mojutapera's Filipe Romero got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Mojutapera's Caetano Furlan in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nova Juve FC's goalie prevented a goal. Caetano Furlan struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Luiz Fábio Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mojutapera. Nova Juve FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
