Dedé Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualter Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Dedé Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo de Toledo in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rômulo de Toledo in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedé Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualter Carneiro in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedé Cavalcante saved Porto Seguro F.C from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Pedro de Amorim to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Machado made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Nova Juve FC's Luiz Fábio Vieira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Válter Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes in the game, Rômulo de Toledo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Rômulo de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a little luck, Porto Seguro F.C's Dedé Cavalcante got control of the ball when Gualter Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Nova Juve FC booed when Porto Seguro F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nova Juve FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zé Pedro Amorim in the 98th minute.
