Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rômulo de Toledo started the match with the kick off. Rômulo de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute, Daniel Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldinho Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 19 minutes of play, Jardim Julia's Severino Schmidt made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fábio Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronaldinho Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo de Toledo in the 22nd minute of play. Gualter Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ronaldinho Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jefferson Marques hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Nova Juve FC's Zé Pedro Amorim tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Gualter Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jardim Julia's zone, Gualter Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldinho Dracena came out of the goal and Gualter Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Ronaldinho Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo de Toledo in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes in the game, Rômulo de Toledo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ronaldinho Dracena having to interfere. Severino Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Luiz Fábio Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualter Carneiro took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldinho Dracena. Ronaldinho Dracena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luiz Fábio Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Rômulo de Toledo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronaldinho Dracena came out and tried to block the shot, but Rômulo de Toledo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 85th minute. If Severino Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdir Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Vieira having to interfere. Rômulo de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ronaldinho Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nova Juve FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
