Doni Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano de Alcântara having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Lago in the 18th minute of play forced ≋P≋L≋A≋Y≋B≋E≋A≋R≋'s goalkeeper Fabiano de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcos Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Doni Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mojutapera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doni Cearense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, Mojutapera's Juninho Toledo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fabiano de Alcântara. After having played for 41 minutes, Osmar Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ≋P≋L≋A≋Y≋B≋E≋A≋R≋'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Osmar Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Osmar Loureiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agostinho Macedo was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 56th minute, Juninho Toledo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mojutapera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Agostinho Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Loureiro in the 60th minute of the match. Fabiano de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ≋P≋L≋A≋Y≋B≋E≋A≋R≋'s Fabiano de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Toledo in the 68th minute of play. Fabiano de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Léo Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaltino Gaúcho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Agostinho Macedo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in ≋P≋L≋A≋Y≋B≋E≋A≋R≋'s zone, Marcos Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano de Alcântara came out of the goal and Marcos Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mojutapera's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
