Buritama Sport Club's Paulo de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Freire in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 51 played minutes Buritama Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Veiga. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sport Club's Tales Moreira got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Waldir Melo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo de Godoi. That made the score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Passinhos EC's Silas Mangueira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo de Godoi. That made the score 0-3 after 67 minutes of play. A collision led to Buritama Sport Club getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Téo Amaral hit a great ball. With a little luck, Buritama Sport Club's Paulo de Godoi got control of the ball when Dráusio Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Passinhos EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5.
