Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Túlio Vianna took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Túlio Vianna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Juve FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Maranhense in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Åke Dimitrakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulão Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Åke Dimitrakis having to interfere. A collision led to Nova Juve FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Tiaguinho Ferraz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Vianna in the 35th minute of play forced Maceió Ice Dragons's goalkeeper Richard Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Maceió Ice Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Romário Almeida. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tomás Osasun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Juve FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Osasun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per-Åke Dimitrakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulão Pombal to make the kick off. Per-Åke Dimitrakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Pires in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Luís Paulo Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes Nova Juve FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Sampaio. A collision led to Maceió Ice Dragons getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Cássio Maranhense hit a great ball. Luisão Munhoz made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nova Juve FC's Silvério Dias. 64 minutes into the match, Maceió Ice Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Neymar De Jésus came free, but Richard Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Tiaguinho Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulão Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiaguinho Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 73 minutes, Conrado Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maceió Ice Dragons and the Nova Juve FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 75 minutes into the match, Maceió Ice Dragons's goalkeeper Richard Ferraz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulryk Dylla. After 79 minutes of play, Nova Juve FC's Tomás Osasun made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Ferraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Per-Åke Dimitrakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Pombal in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Neymar De Jésus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Ferraz. Maceió Ice Dragons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Neymar De Jésus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.
