The Cumbe EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. After 78 minutes of play Diademons FC's Elói Gaspar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Diademons FC's Elói Gaspar got a free kick in the 78th minute. Luís Fábio Neves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evaristo Andrade. Diademons FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 85th minute, Paulão Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iuri Moreno during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
