Virgílio Sena scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juninho Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcinho Duarte's late challenge caught a Sobral F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcinho Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Diademons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcinho Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Juninho Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Sena in the 41st minute of the match. Virgílio Sena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juninho Marques having to make a save. When Iuri Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Diademons FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iuri Moreno couldn't finish the play.

After a defensive mix-up in Sobral F.C.'s zone, Marcinho Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho Marques came out of the goal and Marcinho Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Virgílio Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diademons FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Virgílio Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Juninho Marques made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Sobral F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Virgílio Sena fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Diademons FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
