With a couple of smart ball manuevers Falcão da Rocha in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Berger saved Mestre88 from getting behind. If Falcão da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to Cumbe EC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Paulão Mello hit a great ball. Germán Verdi took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony de Alcântara. Tony de Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Germán Verdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mestre88's supporters rose to their feet, but Germán Verdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony de Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tony de Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Oliveira went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 23 minutes of play, Mestre88's Júlio da Silveira made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony de Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute Txomin Risel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Txomin Risel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio da Silveira scored 0-5 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony de Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 53rd match minute, Mestre88 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germán Verdi to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Egídio Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Mestre88's Igor Oliveira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tony de Alcântara. That made the score 0-9 after 58 minutes of play. 61 minutes into the match, Cumbe EC's goal looked a bit too open when Germán Verdi came free, but Tony de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Donato notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Cumbe EC's Tony de Alcântara. Tony de Alcântara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. After having played for 92 minutes, Júlio da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mestre88's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cumbe EC's Tony de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio da Silveira in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Oliveira in the 96th minute of play forced Cumbe EC's goalkeeper Tony de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Mestre88 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cumbe EC throughout the match.
