In the 25th minute of the match Luisão Tepedino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natã Magalhães skillfully saved the ball. Warnow's Oséas Cearense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Warnow from getting a goal against them. Warnow's supporters rose to their feet, but Cléberson Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
