But to his dismay, Pedro Paulo Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 23rd match minute, diabo do imaroin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Juvenal Borges's late challenge caught a Verdão da Mogiana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juvenal Borges helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes diabo do imaroin got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Borges. The audience was convinced that Çağlar Abdullahi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fellipe Messias was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, diabo do imaroin's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Ackerman came free, but Paulo Berrondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, diabo do imaroin's Durvalino de Queirós got a free kick in the 51st minute. Paulo Berrondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute of the match diabo do imaroin got a corner. Verdão da Mogiana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Genílson Figueiredo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Genílson Figueiredo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Verdão da Mogiana's Fellipe Messias did a great save. Pedro Paulo Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fellipe Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Paulo Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Silvio Nastasio came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Verdão da Mogiana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Nastasio couldn't finish the play. With his leg Fellipe Messias managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when diabo do imaroin's Çağlar Abdullahi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 82nd match minute, diabo do imaroin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Çağlar Abdullahi in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fellipe Messias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Verdão da Mogiana's zone, Çağlar Abdullahi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fellipe Messias came out of the goal and Çağlar Abdullahi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fellipe Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paulo Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The diabo do imaroin players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
