Spectators: 6996 (Terracing: 5596, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rogério Dante started the match with the kick off. POLIARENA's Rui Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Aguiar in the 4th minute of play. In the 13th minute Warnow were awarded a corner. Rogério Dante went to the cornerflag to take it. Rui Neto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Warnow's Rogério Dante shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Rui Neto came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Warnow's Cléberson Aguiar. But to his dismay, Cléberson Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cléberson Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Neto having to interfere. Oséas Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 29 minutes into the match, Rogério Dante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rui Neto. POLIARENA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogério Dante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério Dante in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Rogério Dante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warnow fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 40th match minute, POLIARENA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Donatello to maneuver through the defense. The POLIARENA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Warnow were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juninho do Nascimento made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Branco during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to POLIARENA getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Leandro Branco hit a great ball. Nelsinho Loureiro made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Warnow's Rogério Dante. Oséas Cearense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juninho do Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When Juninho do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the POLIARENA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juninho do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Dênis de Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Emílio Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Rogério Dante sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and POLIARENA's Rui Neto didn't even have to move. Nelsinho Loureiro made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Warnow's Rogério Dante. Oséas Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho do Nascimento in the 78th minute of the match. Oséas Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Warnow walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
