The referee showed Vitório de Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Recife got free with Zé Carlos Prado in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giuseppe Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Metal FC's Zé Carlos Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Tavares in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Metal FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Baptista. Zé Carlos Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Pedro Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Mattos in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Carlos Prado saved Metal FC from getting behind. Metal FC's Zé Carlos Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Brodel in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Metal FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Osasco Rubro-Negra FC side.
