Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luiz Gustavo Ramalho took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wellington Cosme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juninho Teles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Juninho Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 7 minutes, Wágner Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fúria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner Dante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Lamina's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Fonseca came free, but Reinaldo Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Fúria FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Rocha. After 31 minutes, Erasmo Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fúria FC and the Lamina players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Erasmo Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juninho Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Ramalho in the 37th minute of the match. Fúria FC's Juninho Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo Ramalho in the 38th minute of play. Wellington Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Juninho Teles made a huge save. Juninho Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celsinho Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute of the match Bruno Porto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juninho Teles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wellington Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Teles having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Wellington Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lamina's supporters rose to their feet, but Wellington Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juninho Teles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luiz Gustavo Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Fúria FC's Wágner Dante dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 84th minute, Wágner Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Celsinho Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Fúria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celsinho Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Fúria FC's Juninho Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo Ramalho in the 90th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomé Amaral during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
