After a defensive mix-up in POLIARENA's zone, Sílvio Luís Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Neto came out of the goal and Sílvio Luís Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Juninho do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the POLIARENA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juninho do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luís Diniz took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Neto. Rui Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rui Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar de Almeida in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, POLIARENA's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar de Almeida came free, but Rui Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. POLIARENA's Rui Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar de Almeida in the 16th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Sílvio Luís Diniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NEYNARDO FUTEBOL MANAGER and the POLIARENA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Sílvio Luís Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juninho do Nascimento in the 23rd minute of play forced NEYNARDO FUTEBOL MANAGER's goalkeeper Egídio Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Juninho do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Juninho do Nascimento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Egídio Félix. Juninho do Nascimento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 28 played minutes POLIARENA got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Branco. When Juninho do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the POLIARENA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juninho do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute of the match, Juninho do Nascimento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Egídio Félix saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Emílio Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juninho do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Félix having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Leandro Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juninho do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Félix having to interfere. POLIARENA's Juninho do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emílio Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egídio Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, POLIARENA's goalkeeper Rui Neto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Luís Diniz. Rui Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar de Almeida in the 78th minute of play. If Juninho do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Leandro Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. POLIARENA's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egídio Félix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Cássio Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Dé Melo in the 88th minute really tested Rui Neto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 92 minutes into the game, Osvaldinho Donatello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Egídio Félix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the POLIARENA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
