In the 30th minute of the match, Artur Brodel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fellipe Messias was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Verdão da Mogiana's Alberto Ackerman got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Percy do Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Osasco Rubro-Negra FC's protests and gave Percy do Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. Percy do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Verdão da Mogiana's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
