Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nildo Bueno started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Iara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Leite to maneuver through the defense. Gilson Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Tavares in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Iara's Fiori Damião got a free kick in the 6th minute. Enrique Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilson Dracena having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Lino Tavares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gilson Dracena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Iara's Gilson Dracena got control of the ball when Raimundo Guerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lino Tavares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilson Dracena. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Gilson Dracena was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Enrique Lara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enrique Lara really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Gilson Dracena made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Raimundo Guerra sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Lino Tavares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilson Dracena, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Iracema's Raimundo Guerra got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Tavares in the 30th minute of play forced Iara's goalkeeper Gilson Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdomiro Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Iracema's Raimundo Guerra got a free kick in the 34th minute. Gilson Dracena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raimundo Guerra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 36 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Tavares to make the kick off. Gilson Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Tavares in the 55th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lino Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilson Dracena was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 58th minute, Rogério de Lima made a precise shot to the right of Gilson Dracena. Iara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The audience was convinced that Lino Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilson Dracena was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Genílson Paranaense hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Gilson Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Rogério de Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilson Dracena. Iara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogério de Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Gilson Dracena came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Iracema's Emerson Peres. But to his dismay, Emerson Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Nildo Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ricardinho Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Rogério de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Iracema's Rogério de Lima made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilson Dracena was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Lino Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iara's Gilson Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Lara in the 92nd minute of play.
