The tension between the Winners Football Club and the Aliança EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Winners Football Club's Isaltino Trigo got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 18th match minute, Aliança EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Soares to maneuver through the defense. Falcão Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ernani das Neves was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Richard França. Benedito Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ernani das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernani das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés da Fonseca in the 47th minute of the match.
