In the 9th match minute, Winners Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Borges to maneuver through the defense. If Dário Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nando de Sousa in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernani das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Winners Football Club's Frank Borges got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Koehler in the 21st minute of play forced Winners Football Club's goalkeeper Ernani das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernani das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando de Sousa in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Recompensa getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Rafinha Vianna hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Amadeu Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winners Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerson Nóbrega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Celsinho Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winners Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Celsinho Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The wind increased when Isaltino Trigo made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Recompensa's Denílson Queirós made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernani das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Winners Football Club's Isaltino Trigo in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gerson Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Nando de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani das Neves having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Nando de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recompensa's supporters rose to their feet, but Nando de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernani das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nando de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrinho Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani das Neves having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Recompensa's Nando de Sousa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernani das Neves. Ernani das Neves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Gerson Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Recompensa played a much better game than Winners Football Club and deserved their victory. The Winners Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
